Today we have another addition to our list of special moments - this time it's about Grandia III. And this time the moment is also spoiler-free!

I was really excited back then when Grandia III was announced and the first trailers were released. Everything looked so great and gorgeous, and the game indeed did deliver what the trailers promised.

The game looked great and had an extremely fun to play combat system. But alas, the music didn't always keep up with it and the story was kind of a mess.

I finished the game nonetheless - and one of the reasons was that moment linked above!

Hey there, I hope you all had a very nice weekend. I spent some days with my family and hope you also had some good time with loved ones.

Let's resume the updates - today I added another remarkable boss fight from Breath of Fire II - so be warned that we have a Spoiler here. It's only a minor spoiler though since this fight happens fairly during the first hours of the game.

Today we have a typical "this and that" update. I tweaked some stuff in the backend, I added a new link to Binary Scroll (in German) and I added a new gallery - the Ys image gallery. It's quite a surprise that rpg-o-mania never covered Falcom's series in any form at all.

But as you see, we don't turn our back to Ys and started adding stuff.

This is kind of a small update. We have two new images over in the Suikoden gallery, where one is just a better version of an existing image.

Other than that, I tweaked some usability stuff here on the site, but nothing big. There's more contact options available in the "contact" page.

I almost feel like in the golden age of rpg-o-mania again. I met a nice person on twitter who wrote a very interesting retrospective about Persona. Thanks a log, Kaoru!

In the past months, there was Disa who answered lots of questions about mapmaking in RPGs and now Kaoru who wrote lots of information about a game series that's shockingly unfamiliar to me.

My only contact with Persona was a session of about 4 hours in Persona 3 back in 2006 when some friends were over for a gaming session.

Of course, both are now mentioned in our credits.
