After posting lots of art and screenshots in the past few weeks, today I can finally announce our new Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana review.
Like in every other great RPG I finish, I'm always a bit sad when a game ends, and I tend to think a lot about the characters.
Of course, you could restart such a game, especially with Ys and its "New Game+". But to be honest, there are so many great games coming up, that I quit Ys VIII for now and keep it in my memories.

After the bigger update yesterday, it's only a small one today.
I added some screenshots of my Ys VIII playthrough to the Ys screenshot gallery.
They're all from the Switch version, so if you finished it on the PlayStation 4 or the PC and are interested how it fares on the Switch, please take a look
Also be aware that these screenshots cover a whole playthrough, so the gallery is full of . Be warned!

Here in Germany, the weekend slowly ends. And thanks to Kaoru, we have lots of things read and see for you.
First of all, we have some nice character artworks in our newly created Dragon Quest gallery.
Aside of that, we also have a Dragon Quest XI review online, completely written by said Kaoru. He did a great job and I tried to create a layout for this page that fits the extensive review he wrote.

Some more artwork today, and again it's from Square Enix.
Our Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles gallery got a new picture.
I really can't wait for the new version to be released on the Switch. I loved FF:CC when it first came out in 2004 and I had a blast of a time playing with some good friends. If FF:CC on the Nintendo Switch would offer cooperative online gameplay, it would be even better. But also a good local Wifi session would be nice.
Another gallery with new pictures is the Final Fantasy gallery. I added a bunch of new Final Fantasy VII images, they are from the remake.
I'm still a bit skeptical about the remake and it being released in episodes. The first episode, or what we've seen of it until now looks fine enough, but I don't know if they can keep this up in coming episodes.

Today I added several nice character portraits to the Seiken Densetsu galleries. These images have been released along with a new trailer that shows some more of the backstory and gameplay. I'm really hyped about Trials of Mana, since it is a game that's pretty important to me.
Aside of that, I also totally forget to add the Breath of Fire II fanart I made to the Breath of Fire galleries. I'm still not completely convinced about my art style, but it's getting better. At least I'm confident enough to use an art made by me as an header image for our 20 years of rpg-o-mania music album.
