I did another Suikoden Rune today - the Beast Rune, that creepy rune from Suikoden II.

You can see it in our Suikoden Runes Redone section.

I think this one is pretty close to the original, although I had to make up some own decisions because the pictures I found on the net were all quite blurry.

I wish you the very best for this new week and start off with a new update. Today, I added a new battle system in our battle systems report - the hexagonal battle system from Wild Arms 5.

It's an interesting combat system that's a bit on the complex side, but fun nonetheless. Details can be found in our little description.

The battle systems report has been updated. Now there is a little rating in each battle system subpage which tries to make it easier for you to assess a rpg's battle system.

Of course, in the future we will add more battle system, all neatly rated :) A description of how the rating works can be found in the battle systems main page.

Some more Trials of Mana wallpapers for you. They're all desktop wallpapers and based on the new character images that have been revealed recently.

I kept my style going that I used for the last few wallpapers, I think it's a good style for keeping images as a desktop background.

If you like them, feel free to download as many as you like.

Other than that, there's one new artwork available over at the Star Ocean gallery.

It's a late update today (It's almost midnight here) - but it's a huge one. In collaboration with Kaoru, I created a whole report that covers battle systems of RPGs. There are a few examples of battle systems of various games.

This report offers a short description of what makes the respective battle system special, how easy it is and what's fun about it.

And of course, as always, enjoy!
