After my first batch of tracks I did in 1997 and early 1998, I focused on other things (like rpg-o-mania) and didn't create a huge amount of music anymore. However, from the year 2002 on and with the release of the comfortable "ModPlug Tracker" software, I did some more tracks between 2002 and 2006. These are listed here in the album.
These are still tracked and basically loopable like video game music (see Digital Music). For this album, I even had to alter some of the songs' source files so that they don't stop so abruplty. So some of these songs have been modified in 2025.
This is one of the oldest "video game" songs I ever was able to cover. It is loosely based on the Sonic 3 (yeah, no RPG. Well.) boss theme. It means a lot to me, and so it is here on this album.
One of my most faithful recreations of in-game music. It's Dologany (or Crooked Ladder) from Breath of Fire 2.
Another very faithful original remix made by me. It's Fatalize, one of the recurring themes in the Tales of-series. My inspiration came from the Tales of Symphonia version.
This song means so much to me. I heard it in one of the many midis provided at vgmusic.com. And I think I coded most of RPG-O-Mania 5's codebase while listening to that midi on repeat. It's the Dark Cloud dungeon theme from Final Fantasy 3.
This is the intro of the Mega CD version of Lunar: The Silver Star. I was able to recreate the tune quite faithfulla, but I failed miserably at the guitar solo in the bridge. So I just added "Take up the Cross" from Tales of Phantasia.
The last track I created in my life, up until now. This is a medley just as I did them in 1997 with parts of Final Fantasy 8 (The Man With The Machine Gun), Super Mario 64 (Dire Dire Rocks), Mega Man on the Game Boy (Stage Select) and a hint of Complex Thoughts from Suikoden III.
This is also some great music I still like to listen too. And now you can too.
