This week we continue our spree of vio's 25 years - 25 recommendations set of articles.
This time it's about The _Future_, which sometimes revolves a lot around tri-ace.
Maybe tri-ace are the future?
But then again, the games are mostly from the noughties, which are some kind of the past.
Well anyway, enjoy the newest additions!

Our good friend vio81 helped out with a really great special for 25 years of rpg-o-mania!
25 years - 25 game recommendations.
He has a quite unique approach to this topic (and we even phoned for hours discussing this idea), and I'm happy to release the first batch of five games.
The first part is about playing it safe - but before I talk more, you can enjoy the article in the new set of coverage reports.
I hope you have as much fun reading as I did!

Right now I'm in quite some tight spot in terms of my time schedule. Sorry about that.
Together with a good friend, I'm doing a really nice set of articles for this sites' 25th birthday.
But sadly, composing a big set of articles also consumes a lot of time.
So for the time being, please bear with me, and enjoy Some nice YS IX artworks.
We like Ys a lot here, and the next game will be out on October 25th here in Europe. I'm looking forward to it.

rpg-o-mania is 25 today. Happy birthday!
I mean yeah, it's older than that. I have a whole history section here where the whole story from humble beginnings in 1998 to today is documented. But rpg-o-mania.de went live on September 6th, 1999.
If you know how, you can even go back in the site's news entries back to the very first days.
I composed a little text about this site's 25th birthday in our history section
Back then, it also was kind of a blog for me. I shared many personal thoughts here in the news, but in the past 6 years, I kept that to a minimum. The news are for the games and this site, and no personal affairs anymore.
So I will keep it that way. Again, happy birthday, rpg-o-mania.

Soon, Visions of Mana will be released. Scheduled release date is the 29th of August, which means in 3 days.
I won't be able to play it from the start due to financial reasons (here at rpg-o-mania, I buy every game on my own, aside from the one or the other indie game).
Anyway, here's some new art I brushed up, as Square Enix released the artworks in kind of a blurry state. You can find them in our Seiken gallery!
