So here it is finally - the new Chrono Trigger review. The old one, written by Necron back then for RPG xanadu, has been reverted to its original state along with the 110% rating.

But this new one is now our official review.

I enjoyed the play-through, but in the end, the game indeed felt a little dated. Especially the animations are a bit clunky for today's standard, and the final dungeon is a tad uninspired. Nevertheless, a great game.

Today, we have some more SaGa Frontier images. These are from Square Enix themselves to promote the new remastered version.

It's a bit cheap that they use Romancing SaGa 3 Re:Universe art assets to promote the other SaGa game just because they're characters from SaGa Frontier. Oh well.

Aside of that, I'm working on the new Chrono Trigger review, which should come up soon. I have some interesting thoughts to share :)

If your browsers have already reloaded the image, you see we have entered winter mode here on rpg-o-mania. And as always since the page is online, there's a little image of Santa Claus here. Have a peaceful december and may you all be as healthy as possible!

More SaGa Frontier art. I'm really curious when I'm going to play it. If the remake won't be released in the west after all, I have a little trick up my sleeve - the original PlayStation game is waiting to be played in my shelves :)

Ah yes, here's the link to the gallery.

I still remember that time back in 2000, when I was in email contact with a guy called Rya who was an absolute fan of SaGa Frontier. He recommended the game relentlessly, and someday I promised that I will be playing it no later than autumn 2040.

Aside of the fact that this is only 20 years in the future, after the announcement of the SaGa Frontier remaster, I thought I'd brush up some of the official art and post it in our newly created SaGa Frontier gallery.

Hello, I'm still there. Didn't have much time collecting RPG stuff this week, so sorry that I wasn't able to upload anything.

Right now, I'm playing Chrono Trigger, and I collected some screenshots in the Chrono Trigger screenshot gallery. When I'm finished, I think I'm going to rework the old review, just like I did with Suikoden II a few weeks ago.
