The Suikoden HD remasters are very much to my liking.

Especially the new artwork, drawn by Junko Kawano, is very, very appealing. She still switched from water color to digital painting, sadly, just as she did in Eiyuden Chronicle.

But, the avatars are great, and I added them to our recruiting guide.

Check it out - I think it's interesting to see the old avatars next to the new ones. Maybe one day I also replace the old ones with higher res images.

These images date back to when I first did that guide 25 years ago!
