Lunar is a famous RPG series created by game arts. It got special attention in the west when late company Working Designs released great special editions around the turn of the century.
The artwork was drawn by Toshiyuki Kubooka, who had a style similar to Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, famous for Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The games always contained lots of detailed anime style imagery and videos.
