Dragon Quest is one of the oldest Japanese RPG series and it is surely one of the most important ones there. Every new installments of this series draws millions of players in Japan alone to it.
The art is special in the regard that the series is being illustrated by the famous Akira Toriyama. A famous video game magazine once voted Dragon Quest VIII to be a great game solely because it is "a true Toriyama".
